I am writing to you regarding item G11. It has been brought to my attention that the current chief judge,
Colleen Herrington (who was elected in 2022) is being paid less that the former MALE chief judge. Our
mayor signed the Equal Pay Proclamation for the city of Bozeman last Tuesday. Why is the new
FEMALE judge still being paid less? Your resolution (G11) will only increase her salary by 5%. The city
of Bozeman needs to pull the resolution off the consent agenda so that it can be changed for equal pay
for equal work
