HISTORICAL PRECEDENT
The current plan for a 0’ setback at the alley is in line with historical precedence set forth by buildings along the same alley in the Downtown core. Along every block of the alley from N. Broadway to N. 5th there is a building that abuts the property line at the alley. See below for select examples.
In our instance, only our building would abut the property line. Our meters and dumpster pad are located along a portion of the building that has a 5’ setback. Our site also has the advantage for snow storage to be located in the parking lot across the alley.
