To Whom It May Concern: Please consider the following for the Home Base Canyon Gate application. 1) Legends is an existing neighborhood with single family housing. The homes on Maiden Spirit and Boylan Road should not be subject to unnecessary traffic created by the addition of420 apartment units. Our neighborhood is a quiet development and those who live here would like to keep it so. That being said, all major roads should enter and exit on Story Mill Rd andBridger Canyon Drive. Story Mill Rd only has a couple of businesses on the west side of Story Mill Rd which would not be impacted. The neighborhood is densely populated withchildren and adding large volumes of traffic is a safety issue. 2) Existing cottonwood and pine trees should remain. We have deer, moose and bear whoroam the neighborhood and use that area as their habitat. 3) Recommend that there be a 30 foot barrier between existing homes and new developmentwith minimum 6 ft pine trees planted and irrigation installed along the property line to insure the existing homes will have privacy on their property in the future. 4) Ideally, cancel the project and convert to single family homes. The city should complete an environmental impact study along with traffic and safety study that the addition of 1000 cartrips will add to our railroad crossings and travel up and down Bridger Canyon Drive.
