The largest one of concern to me is the intersection of 5th and Mendenhall. Cars are able to park far too close to 5th Ave, so when trying to cross Mendenhall, you’re basically justgambling. You have to creep out until you can see, and since that’s a heavily trafficked road with a higher speed limit than the surrounding roads, that is incredibly dangerous. I’m surethis is a result of the overwhelming amount of people moving here, but something needs to be done. I have lost a direct family member to a car accident, and I would hate to lose anotherone due to intersections like this. Another intersection which is just as bad is the intersection of 5th and Babcock for the same reasons as above. These are intersections that I use daily, but I know there are many more like this around town. Please do something to mitigate this issue. It could be as simple as signs that say “no parkinghere to corner” that are well positioned so that drivers can actually see cars driving at sometimes 50mph on the road they’re about to cross. If there’s anything I can do to help this cause, please let me know. -Michael Buonocore
