Dear City Commissioners,I am respectfully submitting my strong concerns in opposition to approval of this development. My concerns are thefollowing:1. Single point access. This raises critical safety issues for the residents of the development and the adjacentneighborhoods. This along with the request to narrow the street width pose serious problems in times of emergenciesand in everyday egress in the surrounding neighborhood. Additional traffic will increase pressure on an alreadyoverburdened Birdie Drive.Preservation of critical wetlands. This area is home to a variety of wild life as well as critical ecological wetlands. The inclusion of fill and the request for the relaxation of setbacks will hasten the demise of this sensitive area.3. Setting precedents. The approval of this development with its six requests for relaxation from city code will, inmy view, set a bad precedent for future projects. The city has worked hard to develop city codes for the benefit of allof its citizens not to be set aside for the financial gain of development.Thank you for your attention to these important concerns and issues.Respectfully submitted,Gregory and Nancy Franklin1045 Boylan Rd #11Bozeman, Mt 59715 Sent from my iPad
