Hello Valued Commission Members: My Name is Victoria Valdesuso and I live at 1050 Boylan Rd, # 11, Bozeman, 59715 - Village Green Townhomes. I am reaching out to all of you today to ask you to oppose the Shady Glen Development. The last time you were asked to vote on this development in 2021, you had many concerns that ultimately led to your decision. The current application is essentially the same.  City Commissioner, Jennifer Madgic, if I may respectfully quote you, you said the following statements regarding this PUD: “I think our requirement for a 2nd point of access when a subdivision goes past a certain threshold is a good one and I worry about the precedence that this would set if we approve this relaxation.” You went on to say: “For good reason our community has decided that cul de sacs are not a way to promote traffic circulation and public health and safety. I don’t think a pattern of the past should be made again. The standard of today, of a 2nd point of access, is a good one.” Perhaps the most compelling statement you made was: “I do not feel that we, the city, should be responsible for approving something that has public health and safety implications because an applicant cannot attain something that is needed, in this case a 2nd point of access.”   And finally, right before the vote, you ended with: “I am concerned with the viability of the emergency access and particularly its proximity to the primary access.” Ms. Madgic you voted no for this development and I ask that you stand by and defend your words of concern for our neighborhood’s health and safety. With great respect for your positions, thank you for your time and consideration.  Respectfully, Victoria Valdesuso
