Given the insensitivity of such an enormous amount of over-development in our dear town, I
am aghast that this proposal has returned to your desks AT ALL!!!
The safety concerns are obvious but one appears to be overlooked. I live on Boylan Road andthe turn off Bridger Dr. onto Birdie has become not only busier but blinder. Birdie itself is
narrow and with parking on both sides, it is often a one lane street. The impact of additionaltraffic would not be acceptable and to change it would be expensive, if at all possible.
Wildlife abounds in this area. Cranes, geese, ducks, deer, moose, bear, wild turkey, song
birds, beaver. I've owned this property since 1998 and have watched enormous change. Butthe wetlands haven't been touched. Wildlife depends on the likes of wetlands as one source of
sustenance. The footprint in the Bozeman area has shrunk dramatically for supporting wildlifeand these developers absolutely CANNOT control how their construction, fences, sewer,
water, etc. will affect the wetlands. Was a professional impact study submitted?
This development is clearly about ripping out what is left in this special part of town in thename of profit. Shame, shame, shame.
Please don't approve this short-sighted, flawed concept. Once this delicate area is gone, it is
gone forever.
Sincerely,Sheryl Sanders
