Dear Bozeman Commissioners,
Thank you for taking time to read the comments regarding the
Shady Glen Development Proposal. Last time the similar proposal for this areawas presented by this developer for this parcel of land it was denied by you. No
major changes in the proposal this time and the 2nd public road access that wasa major concern for the city commission last time that this was reviewed
remains unchanged with only one public access point. I am asking this proposalgets denied again as public safety in this increasingly congested area is a critical
concern of mine. My understanding is that the proposal hasn’t corrected themajor cause of all our concerns: a 2nd public point of access to the
development. Without a 2nd access, this poses a health and safety risk in theevent of an emergency.
The Proximity to the river also a major concern of mine and not overriding theestablished setbacks in a wetland area .
Again, thank you for your service and consideration in following establishedriver setback requirements and 2nd point of public access and ultimately public
safety on this redundant proposal.Sincerely,
