Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Commissioners My name is Paul Boylan. I reside at 1037 Boylan Rd. I am writing to express my opposition to the Shady Glenn proposed PUD. This ill-conceived plan has come up for approval several times over the past few years, under several different names, but the project lays has the same deficiencies; the lack of two separate points of access. I call your attention to the fact that 4 out of 5 Commission members are on record as being opposed to this development because of the access issues. Please do not allow this project to go ahead and set a precedent for the unhealthy and unsafe plan being proposed. The one regular access is not sufficient, in itself, since it is not of a proper width for a city street. Another draw back to this design is the traffic consideration. The access road uses Birdie Drive to access Bridger Drive. As it stands now, Birdie Drive is one way traffic when there is snow on the ground because of the parking allowed on both sides of the street and the plowing of snow leaves a one way alley for traffic during part of the year. In addition, this property is also asking for a lot of variance from water setback rules that are not in keeping with the requirements. This is just another attempt of the developer to try and bully and force his way to develop a piece of property that is basically not in keeping with the rules. I believe this is the fourth time that the developer has asked for special treatment to rescue his bad investment. THIS PUD should be rejected out of hand. Paul F. Boylan, JR.
