George McDowell 1058 Boylan Road On July 2o, 2021, the Commission voted down a proposal from Mr. Tom Murphy to develop a piece of property, then known as Bridger Meadows. Mr. Murphy is now proposing a development plan for the same piece of property now named Shady Glen. While I do not contiguously own next to the said property, it is in the neighborhood in which my wife and I reside, our address being 1058 Boylan Rd. There is one variance request within this plan which should immediately end the conversation on this project, that being the need to change the wetland guidelines that are in place. The property is in a flood plain. For the Commission to start approving variances to established guidelines is opening Pandora’s Box to future developments within the city limits. Wetlands were stablished and protected for a reason, and I don’t think they need reiterated here. Common sense should be the guide. They do not need to be infilled or set back to meet someone’s dream. They should be considered to written in stone. Mr. Murphy brought a “pig” to sell you back in 2021. He is now back with the same “pig”, albeit with lipstick, eyeshadow, and a frilly tutu. I’m sorry it’s the same “pig” and I hope you are not buying it today. George McDowell 1058 Boylan Road
