You have received this feedback from Violet Haugland < Bloomingme17flower@gmail.com > for the following page: https://www.bozeman.net/departments/city-commission/advisory-boards/calendar My concern with the Shady Glen development has to do with how high is the water table in that area. When homes are built they will have to have sump pumps and will the water from their sump pumps saturate the ground and drain into our crawl spaces being we are lower on 1050 Boylan RD area. 1050 Boylan RD area condos already have sump pumps running at times from early Spring into August. City crew have told us their is a river under these condos. Mold developed in some of them. Also in some of the area of 1050 Boylan Rd there is a drop of about 3 feet from Shady Glen to backyards. Will there be a barrier so someone loosing control of their vehicle doesn't end up coming down into our backyards and ending up in our bedrooms or living rooms? Also there is still a concern about a second acess. Are the members that were concerned about asecond access still concerned about it. You should be. Also a notice should be put up if so people with children or dogs are aware that bear, deer, moose travel this area. I have all them in my backyard along with Sand Hill cranes and other birds. Last summer the resurfacing of the street at 1050 Boylan Rd had to be delayed over two months due to sump pumps running. Just some things for you to think about. Thanks.
