Hey Mike,
Thank you for the following information/traffic study waiver request; in regard to the Shady Glen Development. I have
reviewed your request for a Traffic Study wavier. In addition, I have also checked the ITE manual based on the proposed
zoning/usage and have confirmed the information you provided is accurate and sufficient.
ITE Generation Information
Avg Weekday Trips: 151 trips using the average rate, 187 using the fitted curve
PM Peak hour Trips: 15 trips using the average rate, 18 using the fitted curve.
Based on the information provided, the proposed ADT and Peak/Hr trips are below the requirements for a formal traffic
study. Therefore, the applicant does not need to complete a traffic study for the Shady Glen subdivision development.
Please provide this email as a formal Traffic Study waiver with the preliminary plat submittal. Please reach out if you
have any questions concerning the submittal process.
Thanks,
Lance

CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the
sender and know the content is safe.
The proposed layout for the Shady Glen development has a total of 16 single-family lots which, at 10 trips per
day per lot, equals 160 ADT. Based on our experience, this being less than 500 ADT, it would not typically
require a traffic study.
Please verify that a traffic study will not be required for the Shady Glen project. The previously submitted
Preliminary Plat drawing is attached for reference.
Thanks -
