I have forwarded this to our City Clerk’s office for records retention and the applicant team for their consideration. The vehicular parking spaces for both of these projects does meet the minimum requirement of the Bozeman Municipal Code. The overall project was approved for 58 parking spaces to serve the accessory apartment uses, industrial spaces, offices, and automobile service and repair provided by Swiss Detail. As on street parking is allowed on local streets within Bozeman, it can often be difficult for the Planning Department to regulate once a property has been constructed and is fully operating. However, I would urge you to reach out to the Parking Department for enforcement of parking citations and violations for any vehicles that are violation of the City’s ordinances. Additionally, please contact your condominium association for further parking regulations as the property owner and/or condominium associations can also apply restrictions on parking on the subject property to help with this issue. Also, the City is currently updating our land development code, and your comments regarding parking standards may be considered in this update by our consultant and Planning Team. https://engage.bozeman.net/udc Thank you, Nakeisha Lyon, AICP | Associate Planner | Community DevelopmentPronouns: she, her, hersCity of Bozeman | 20 East Olive St. | P.O. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Hello Nakeisha. I received a letter from the the City of Bozeman for the 2 applications listed in thesubject line of this email. I am an adjacent property owner in the 2x7 CondoAssociation. My building immediately backs up to this project. While I see the need for projects like this around Bozeman and I like the look/feelof what is proposed ... I am extremely worried about parking in that area. In ourcondo association, the parking often overflows onto 27th Ave, which is alreadycongested and overrun because of the residential development in the area. I strongly urge the Planning Department to increase the parking requirements forthis new development expansion that is proposed. Thanks for passing along mycomments to whomever is best to receive them.
