VERSION 3 - SEPTEMBER 1, 2016.2.ALL REQUIRED PERIMETER SILT AND CONSTRUCTION FENCING SHALL BEINSTALLED PRIOR TO ANY LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITY (STOCKPILING,STRIPPING, GRADING, ETC). ALL OTHER REQUIRED EROSION CONTROLMEASURES SHALL BE INSTALLED AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME IN THECONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE AS INDICATED IN THE APPROVED PROJECTSCHEDULE, CONSTRUCTION PLANS, AND STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN.3.AT ALL TIMES DURING CONSTRUCTION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BERESPONSIBLE FOR PREVENTING AND CONTROLLING ON-SITE EROSIONINCLUDING KEEPING THE PROPERTY SUFFICIENTLY WATERED SO AS TOMINIMIZE WIND BLOWN SEDIMENT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO BERESPONSIBLE FOR INSTALLING AND MAINTAINING ALL EROSION CONTROLFACILITIES SHOWN HEREIN.4.PRE-DISTURBANCE VEGETATION SHALL BE PROTECTED AND RETAINEDWHEREVER POSSIBLE. REMOVAL OR DISTURBANCE OF EXISTING VEGETATIONSHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AREA(S) REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE CONSTRUCTIONOPERATIONS, AND FOR THE SHORTEST PRACTICAL PERIOD OF TIME.5.CONDITIONS IN THE FIELD MAY WARRANT EROSION CONTROL MEASURES INADDITION TO WHAT IS SHOWN ON THESE PLANS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALLIMPLEMENT WHATEVER MEASURES ARE DETERMINED NECESSARY TOCONTROL ON-SITE EROSION.6.ALL SOIL STOCKPILES SHALL BE PROTECTED FROM SEDIMENT TRANSPORT BYAPPROPRIATE EROSION CONTROL METHODS.
