The position is intended to promote a civil service career for individuals who, within the previous two years, graduated from qualifying educational institutions with an associate's, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from qualifying educational institutions. A degree in one of the following fields is preferred: finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position, such as agriculture, agricultural economics, farm, livestock or ranch management, or rural sociology.
