Compliance with Growth Plan
Compliance with Bozeman Long-Range Planning and Growth Policy:
- Project Site is located within both the Bozeman City limits and Growth Policy Boundary
- Provides a diversity of housing types to suit a growing population
- Provides smaller lot sizes than traditional single family lots and provides the “missing middle” housing stock including small lot SFD, 5-pack autocourt clusters, duplexes, and townhomes
- Provides attainable and affordable housing strategies
- Provides much needed housing for workers within the City of Bozeman to restore a jobs/ housing balance - Higher density housing responds to the demand of 12,700 new residences by 2045
- Establishes an interconnected system of trails and open space elements that support the health and well-being of the community - Promotes front door character along all roads with porches and a varied street scene. This promotes safety and security with eyes on the street
- Increase connectivity between parks and neighborhoods through continued trail and sidewalk development. This includes connecting the Wetland Trail and pocket park with the Sports Park.
