City planning,
I recently learned of this site plan in south Bozeman where my family is to live beginning nextsummer. I and many other residents have significant concerns regarding a brewery beingplaced in our neighborhood where a village convenience store was slated. It is not appropriatefor this neighborhood and explicitly violates city code and fails to protect the interests and
safety of the area (e.g. parking spillover). I would ask that the Unified Development
Code be: 1) updated to provide more protection in established residential
areas, and 2) strictly interpreted and enforced throughout the city.
Thank you for the important work you do and I can only imagine the chaos
of trying to keep up. It’s a heavy burden to bear as Bozeman continues to
develop and change.
