I ask the Commission to vote in favor of Res 5470. 1) HB407 infringed on Bozeman's right and responsibility to
ensure a clean environment for its citizens. Res. 5470 will help remedy this infringement. 2) Res 5470 is in line with
Bozeman's climate and sustainability plans, has been recommended by the City Clerk and Manager, and is
supported by the community. 3) As our community grows, so will plastic pollution. We need to address the problem
– single use plastic - before it is too late
