G) 00:05:55 Action Items G.1 Parking Supply and Demand Management Tools Sustainability Board Parking Supply and Demand Tools.pdf Parking Supply and Demand Management Work Session Presentation • Economic Development Program Manager Mike Veselik presented on parking supply and demand management tools (i.e. paid parking) in downtown Bozeman. The Sustainability Citizen Advisory Board was asked to provide a formal vote on a recommendation to the City Commission to direct staff to pursue parking supply and demand management tools (i.e. paid parking) in downtown Bozeman. The Sustainability Advisory Board followed up with questions and discussion followed by a motion. 01:32:45 Motion to amend I move to recommend the City Commission direct staff to pursue the proposed parking supply and demand management tools (i.e. paid parking) in downtown Bozeman to help achieve the City’s sustainability goals as established in the Climate Plan, prioritizing using annual and net operating income to improve active and public transportation with consideration for the impact of paid parking on vulnerable populations. Interviews are being scheduled and they are hoping to fill the position by the first of the year. • Strategic Services Director Jon Henderson provided an FYI that the City Commission will hold a HOA model covenants work session on Tuesday November 15, 2022. That same night, the City Commission will also hold a UDC Overhaul work session that is specific to sustainability. In December, the Sustainability Advisory Board will hear from the City’s Community Development Director about the UDC Overhaul. H.1 01:38:04 Food System Stakeholder and Priority Mapping Work Session Food System Mapping Presentation • Sustainability Program Manager Natalie Meyer and Independent Consultant Kate Wright presented on the City’s approach to cultivating a robust local food system and starting a food system mapping project. The Sustainability Advisory Board followed up with discussion, questions, and suggestions for moving forward.
