The ability for local governments to ban single use plastics makes a HUGE difference in the move away from single
use plastics, which end up in our landfills, natural places, and rivers. Montana is facing growth, and we must chart a
path to smarter use of materials in our waste systems, smarter use of landfill space, and protection of rivers/fish.
We must allow bans on single use plastics! Please help our state move forward in a way that allows businesses and
consumers to build a better future.
