Dear Commissioners,
Please vote in favor of Resolution 5470:
1) H.B. 407 infringed on Bozeman's right and responsibility to ensure a
clean and healthful environment for its citizens, and Res. 5470 will help
remedy this infringement.
2) Res. 5470 is in line with the City of Bozeman's climate and sustainability
plans, has been favorably recommended by the City Clerk and Manager,
and is supported by the community. Therefore, the Commission should vote
to approve it.
3) As our community grows, so will plastic pollution. We need to addressthe source of the problem – single-use plastics – before it's too late.
