Dear City Commissioners, Thank you for considering Resolution 5470. Gallatin Valley Sunrise, local youth climate
organization, agrees that HB 407 was an infringement on city rights, taking away one means for the city to protect
state constitutional rights to a clean and healthy environment. Passing this resolution is a good signal of the
dedication our city has to protecting our lived environment and a step towards valuable legislation. Sincerely,
