I was chair of the Bozeman Beautification Advisory Board for over 20 years. I am now Vice President of theFriends of the Library Board and also a member of the Gallatin County Solid Waste Management Board. I am writing this letter on my own behalf, based on the knowledge and experience gained from the above mentioned involvement. My request is for the commission to seriously consider putting the attached Resolution on the agenda. This resolution brought forward to you previously by Isaac Cheek on behalf of theCottonwood Environmental Law Firm plainly states the urgency to protect our quality of life here in our community. I believe it is imperative that the City of Bozeman enact thisResolution . In my experience and research the proliferation of poisonous plastic particles from single use plastics is overwhelming our soil, water, and is wrecking havoc to our health.Please do not delay in giving this resolution serious consideration.
