Preliminary Determination
Exempt Well Public Private Use
The anticipated annual water demand for domestic use is X,XXX gal/yr/1000 sq ft * X,XXX sq ft = XXX,XXX gal/yr or X.XX Acre-feet/yr. It is assumed that landscape irrigation demand will
be supplied by an exempt well. If an exempt well is ultimately not used for irrigation supply, then the anticipated annual demand will be adjusted accordingly to account for irrigation
supply.
The CIL water rights fee multiplier is $6,000/acre-foot which was established pursuant to city commission resolution.
When The notice of completion of GW development form 602 is filed with DNRC for the well. The portion of the appropriation used for public park, assuming the appropriation is split
between public and private systems, must be indicated as being owned by the City of Bozeman, with the appropriate volume and place of use identified. City Parks Director must sign
the form on behalf of the city.
