Re: Evergreen Drive
Please find the following two departure requests:
BMC Section 38.550.050.C.2 We are requesting a departure from BMC Section
38.550.050.C.2 regarding landscape screening continuation, width, and height. Based on
conflicts with the existing utility easement location, continuous landscaping is impractical. We
are providing maximum landscaping along this frontage where practical to avoid the utility
easement. This area is an industrial area with utility easement constraints that make meeting
this code section impractical.
BMC 38.520.040 We are requesting a departure from BMC 38.520.040 regarding a required
connection to the street. Evergreen Drive does not have pedestrian facilities, therefore there
is no sidewalk to provide connection to. The building use is industrial in nature and will not
elicit pedestrian traffic.
