I really question the fairness of the $400 "special assessment" tax that I am forced to pay every year to maintain
roads that thousands of tourists and people living outside the city use every year. Furthermore, it seems like I am
getting taxed twice to fund development that majority of us do not want. If you surveyed city residents, I suspect
most people, besides a few wealthy developers and construction company owners, would be against more
development.
