COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3152 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ESTABLISHING A REVISED LANDFILL FEE SCHEDULE FOR USERS OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN LANDFILL. WHEREAS, the Bozeman City Commission did regularly pass Commission Resolution No. 3083 on the 2nd day of October 1995, which Resolution established a revised landfill gate fee schedule for users of the City of Bozeman landfill; and WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman continues to incur additional costs in its operation of the landfill due to recently implemented Federal and State mandates; and WHEREAS, the Bozeman landfill cannot accept wire, cable, rope, etc., greater than three feet in length since these materials cause an inordinate amount of damage to City equipment used at the landfill; and WHEREAS, the Bozeman landfill cannot accept liquid wastes; and WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman, in accordance with its license to operate a Class II landfill, can accept only Group II and Group III wastes as defined in 16.14.503 ARM; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that these charges are appropriate and in the best interests of the City of Bozeman. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana: Section 1 To defray the cost and expense of operating the City of Bozeman landfill, there is hereby established a schedule of fees to be levied upon all users of the landfill, as set forth in Schedule "A" attached. Section 2 The rates established herein shall become effective November 4, 1996.
