This proposed project has the potential of disrupting the subdivisions of Sundance Springs and Ellis
View because of it’s proximity to these subdivisions. Especially concerning is the departure that
allows the buildings to be placed away from Third Street and closer to the greenspace of Sundance
Springs. The concern of parking issues , light and noise pollution needs to be addressed for this
project that follows not only the Commercial lot’s covenants but also the city’s guidelines.
I am not against development but this project needs special scrutiny because of its’ location
adjacent to an open space and rural setting. This setting is the main reason that our residents chose
this neighborhood to live and this must be safeguarded from too many departures from the
covenants and guidelines.
Thank you for reviewing this project carefully that takes into consideration of not only the
developers but the surrounding neighborhoods. The burden is on the City of Bozeman to make the
right decisions.
