Below is the response, shown in blue, from the applicant’s representative, John LaPointe, regarding anticipated
peak wastewater discharge from the proposed Tidal Wave Car Wash development.
The City’s hydraulic model has shown a downstream section of sewer that is near capacity, which may
need to be upgraded given this particular developments type of use. The applicant is encouraged to
submit certified peak-flow estimates to the engineering department (Mikaela Schultz) prior to submitting
a site plan application to verify the sewer requirements. Peak sanitary flow rate is 50 gpm.
