How is a deserted scooter on the sidewalk any different from trash left on the sidewalk? It
dirties the landscape and is a hazard to all using the sidewalk.
I have previously used rental bikes that required me to return them to a stand for my creditcard to cease being charged. Why isn't this required with the scooters? You rent them from a
stand, your card is charged until you return them to a stand.
As a taxpayer, I do not need to pay for a consultant to address this problem.
