Hi,
I work in downtown and live near the MSU, and started to see an increasing number ofscooters on the street. Issues I have with these scooters are:
1) Are they supposed to go on the road or pedestrian pass? People seem to ride them on both,and go back and forth between them, causing hazard for both drivers and pedestrians. They do
make abrupt acceleration/deceleration that is unpredictable.2) Rules for the parking - They are often left on the curves, on the street, on the pedestrian
walkway, or trails. Are there any rules as to where and how to park these scooters? It lookslike they are piled up wherever riders want in random order.
3)These scooters are often laid down flat on the street parking space and with increasing snow,leaves, and darkness, it is very hard to spot them sometimes. I am afraid to drive over it trying
to park in the street parking space.
