The benefit to the community ofBozeman is far outsripped by the disorder and disruption they induce. Every morning we come to work downtown, the facade of our business is litteredwith scooters thrown on the ground, tossed in the bushes or pulled up blocking ourfront entrance. Recently, I saw two of them tossed into Bozeman Creek behind FirstSecurity Bank. I also see them run lights, ride on the sidewalks incessantly and runthe wrong way down both Mendenhall and Babcock. Downtown is rife with nearmisses by cars running red lights; we do not need more modes of transportationcreating additional chaos. Especially when you consider the seasonality, altogether they are simply not worththe value. Possibly, remotely, if the city were to implement and enforce some rules andregulations (which won't happen), there may be an argument for their inclusion inthe community. But as it stands, there is not. Ban them. Thank you for reading, James
