Hello,
Thank you for taking time to discuss the topic of Bird Scooters. If these were used properly, I
think they are a great option for college students and non-vehicle owning people to getaround. However, they are not used properly. They are constantly left in the middle of
sidewalks, roads, parks, and inopportune places. This is annoying when trying to navigatewith strollers. In addition, so many people use them on the sidewalks which is incredibly
unsafe. I have almost been hit by these scooters several times while pushing a stroller, and Ihave also had close calls while driving and not seeing them on the sidewalks (which they
aren't supposed to be used on sidewalks). My issue with these is safety related both for theusers and for people surrounding where they are used.
