These scooters are a huge safety concern. I have seen multiple people fall off ofthem while driving by. They also go very fast on the sidewalks, and I have witnessed them trying to merge into the road and nearly collide with automobiles. While walking down thesidewalks with my children, we have been almost hit by groups of riders multiple times. Aside from the safety concerns, they are discarded like trash all over our scenic town. I am sure you have witnessed for yourself seeing Bird's in front of homes, on the side of the road inthe bicycle lane, in private driveways, parking lots, anywhere and everywhere. They look like trash. They are ugly. Finally, these are supposedly partially funded to help people with lower income get aroundtown? We have a free bus for that. I have yet to see a homeless person using a scooter. Someone is making a lot of money off of these scooters and I do not wish to participate in it in any way. Not through taxes, or the clean up of them, or their disposal. Please remember that as a tourist town we want it to be user friendly and attractive tooutsiders. We want to stand out as different so that people will want to come here to "get away." The scooters take away the quaint feel of our western town. Let's do better than manyother recreational cities around the country. Sincerely, Kim BallBozeman --
