Re the Bird scooters, I have safety concerns. They are often blocking the sidewalks, forcing pedestrians into the
street to get around them or attempt to move them, which is inconvenient and hard for the elderly or disabled.
They are sometimes in the street, which is also dangerous. My next concern is that riders are riding double,
sometimes with a younger child in front of the scooter. I've not seen a helmeted rider nor have I seen any obey
traffic laws or signs. They are a menace.
