My husband and I often walk the 3 miles each way from our home downtown and also take long walks in our
neighborhood. I am opposed to scooters in town for several reasons.
1. The users leave them in any random spot. Many times in the middle of the sidewalk.
2. The majority of scooter riders ride on the sidewalk. They ignore the sign on the scooter that tells them it is to be
used on the street.
3. When walking you cannot hear a scooter that is coming up behind you. The rider expects the walker to move off
the sidewalk.
4. Scooters are an unsightly blight
5. I have yet to see any scooter rider given a ticket for riding on the sidewalk.
Please deny this company a license to do business in bozeman, if such a license is needed. For those scooter riders
who use it to commute to work and school the city bus is a free alternative.
Please rid Bozeman of the scooter menace.
