Stiff Professional Building PO Box 1230 Attn: Mikaela Schultz RE: Nelson Meadows Lot 18 Subdivision Curb and Gutter Deviation Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana Dear Mikaela: The purpose of this letter is to request a deviation from the city code to not install perimeter curb and gutter around the gravel area of the Nelson Meadows Lot 18 Subdivision. This letter is in response to comment 58 that the City of Bozeman made during their plan review. The perimeter curb and gutter are not necessary in this area for a few reasons. The area will be primarily used for storage and the curb and gutter would not benefit storm drainage in this area. The storm water will sheet flow to a swale and pond located on the northwest side of the gravel area. There will be no issues in retaining stormwater on-site. Could you please provide a response to this letter that will be included in the comment response for the Nelson Meadows Lot 18 Subdivision. Sincerely, Brett Megaard, P.E. Project Manager
