Good evening,
Thank you to all who have submitted comments on the preliminary draft report. We continue to make edits to reflect thegood feedback. As a reminder, the final version of this Phase 1 report will be transmitted to Governor Gianforte tomorrow,Oct. 14. We will also post the final version on the Housing Task Force web page at that time.
Next week, the Governor will meet with the task force to mark the milestone of this first submittal. This meeting is open tothe public and will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 11:00 a.m. in the Governor's Reception Room at the Capitol. Themeeting will serve as a transition into the second phase of work, focusing on regulatory changes and best practices for stateand local government. At the meeting, Chair Dorrington will lay out the assignments and schedule for task force workthrough mid-December.
As always, the meeting will close with an opportunity for public comment. We want to hear from you - what went well in thisfirst sprint and what could be improved as we work toward our next deadline of Dec. 15?
