Hello City of Bozeman Department of Community Development, I would like to voice a few concerns regarding the Buffalo Run Subdivision. Adding 237 homes and all of the cars and traffic that come with it to this area is cause for concern. This is going to add a lot of extra traffic down Fowler Lane. Fowler Lane is currentlya county owned two lane dirt road with no major improvements. Which then T's into Stucky Rd another County Road that is already quite narrow with no bike lanes or sidewalks. Unlessthe city is going to take ownership of both of these roads and make the necessary improvements of a shoulder/bike lane or sidewalks this seems to make an unsafe situation. IfFowler is only improved in front of Buffalo Run I can only imagine what will happen to the condition of the gravel Fowler Lane between Buffalo Run and Stucky Rd. I think it will createlots of washboards, ruts and dust. Another concern is will the city or the county maintain Fowler Ln between Buffalo Run and Stucky Rd? I remember a similar situation on Cottonwood between Huffine and Durstonwhich took quite some time to resolve. As part owner of an agricultural property I am also concerned about how this will impact the Middle Creek Ditch which is how we get water to our property. Thanks so much for your consideration of my comments. Sincerely, Michelle Fitterer4940 Stucky Rd Bozeman, MT 59718
