As an employee of a small, downtown business, I'd like to reiterate what's been said about paid parking being a
burden to employees (and small biz owners). I think it's a wrong move to pursue paid parking downtown. I think that
paid parking will deter locals from coming downtown, and part of a thriving downtown should be a mix of local and
non-local visitors. Creating barriers to access to a place that should welcome all residents doesn't feel lin the spirit of
"the most livable place".
