Hello commision
I don't think we need paid parking. I can see how it will discourage some people from going downtown. It also
takes away from our Bozeman feel. Why dont we just have a sales tax to pqy for things like this. it in effect would
still be like paid parking.
The people shopping would be paying for their parking. It would also be a way to fund alternative transportation,
such as biking downtown instead of driving. creating safe bike lanes. A 3-5% sales tax on non essental items could
solve a lot of issues similar to this….
