Stakeholders and Partners -
Thank you for your continued engagement with the Governor's Housing Task Force. Since July, the task force has met morethan 15 times to identify, discuss, and develop a collection of recommendations aimed at addressing some of the housingchallenges facing our state. If you are still following along after the whirlwind of the last couple months, we appreciate yourattention!
Housing is an important topic for many communities across the state and for Montanans from all walks of life. There are, ofcourse, many perspectives on the matter and many intertwined issues. The role of the task force, as directed by GovernorGianforte, has been to bring to light a variety of potential solutions that deserve additional consideration and, importantly, further conversation. With this in mind, the task force is excited to welcome public review and comment on its preliminarydraft recommendations.
The preliminary draft report has been published on the Housing Task Force web page. It represents a work product that weexpect will continue to evolve as further edits and clarifications are received in advance of the Oct. 15 deadline fortransmittal of the final report to the Governor.
