We agree about the boulevard and we have removed Ash from our plant list. Thanks again! The true boulevard space is chock full of ulies and there are no other street trees nearby. Plus you have plenty of landscaping buffer on your site. My comments for this project were advisory on the interior – I highly recommend dropping Ash (fraxinus) species from your palee. It’s a tree we’re trying to phase out in Bozeman to prepare for Emerald Ash Borer. http://www.emeraldashborer.info/ Thanks, Alex Nordquest Forestry Division Manager (o) 406-582-3225 (c) 406-579-1721 From: Kendra Piedalue <kendra@byla.us> Sent: Wednesday, May 25, 2022 1:57 PM To: Alex Nordquest <ANordquest@BOZEMAN.NET> Cc: Eric Meadows <eric@byla.us> Subject: 22047 Sundance Springs Subdivision Phase 1B, Comm Lot 2 SP - Changemark Queson CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organizaon. We received a comment about street trees from the City of Bozeman Planning Department (See attached) that suggested wecoordinate with you "to determine if street trees are appropriate and if so location and type" . I've also attached our current planting plan (no changes made yet). We are currently showing clumps of smaller ornamental trees to help keep the view to the buildings semi-open so passerbys see it. However, we can change to one large canopy tree every 50' isappropriate/desired. Can you review the comment and our plan and let me know your thoughts?
