Good Afternoon,
This is a reminder that the Governor's Housing Task Force will convene for its fifth full meeting on Wednesday, September28, at 2:00 p.m. Interested stakeholders, partners, and members of the public are invited to listen in on the meeting andprovide comment either in person at the DEQ Headquarters (1520 E 6th Ave, Helena, room 111) or via Zoom by clicking thebutton below at the time of the meeting.

At this meeting, the task force will continue to review and discuss the draft recommendations from all four subtask groups. In
line with Executive Order No. 5-2022, these recommendations will be compiled into a report focusing on items the
legislature could consider and the governor could sign into law. The task force will discuss final edits and clarifications to the
recommendations before they are transmitted to the Governor in advance of the October 15 due date. The task force will
also lay out its approach for the second deliverable, due by December 15, focusing on regulatory items and best practices
that could be adopted by state agencies and local governments.
Public and stakeholder involvement is a crucial part of the task force objectives and one-third of the meeting time is reservedto hear comments. Recordings of past task force meetings are available on the task force web pageat: https://deq.mt.gov/about/Housing-Task-Force
