ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER—2022-07
RESCISSION OF DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY FOR COVID-19 PANDEMIC
WHEREAS, On March, 16, 2020 the City Manager issued an Emergency Declaration
establishing certain authority and powers which such Declaration is incorporated herein;
and
WHEREAS,on March 18, 2020,the City Commission adopted Resolution 5159, which ratified
the City Manager's Emergency Declaration; and
WHEREAS,on June 30, 2021, Governor Gianforte issued Executive Order No. 10-2021
Rescinding State of Emergency related to the Covid-19 Novel Coronavirus; and
WHEREAS, the Health Officer and Board of Health for the Gallatin City-County Health
Department have implemented precautionary and protective measures for the citizens of the City
of Bozeman along with a robust vaccination campaign and testing sites; and
WHEREAS the Cityof Bozeman has made significant progress in mitigate the negative effects

of COVID-19; and
WHEREAS,as a result of mitigation efforts,the conditions that necessitated Declaration of
Emergency have been reduced in the City of Bozeman; and
WHEREAS,even in light of the measures the community has taken to mitigate the spread of the
COVID-19 virus,the COVID-19 virus is still present in our community, and therefore all
individuals are encouraged to continue using preventative measures to protect their individual
health and safety, and the health and safety of their families and community.
NOW,THEREFORE,as City Manager of the City of Bozeman,Montana, and as chief
executive officer of the City, and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the City of Bozeman
Charter and the laws of the State of Montana, I hereby terminate the Declaration of Emergency
for COVID-19 (March 16, 2020) and the City of Bozeman Pandemic Recovery and Reopening
Plan(May 2020).

As such, I declare all implementing orders made pursuant to the Declaration of Emergency,
dated March 16, 2020, are hereby rescinded and are no longer of any force or affect. The orders
rescinded include Emergency Declaration Orders 1- 17 and Administrative Order 2021-07 (May
26, 2021).
