Gary,
As proposed, I would not require an additional fire hydrant internal to the project. Existing fire hydrants are acceptable.
The water department could possibly answer your question about main extensions.

Hi Scott,
Wanted to check in with you on a project for 1608 W. Beall. The plan is for 10 townhome units. This is
through Concept Review (#21230).
The first attachment shows the adjacent water and the second is the preliminary site layout. I don’t
know yet if main extensions are required through the site (although it seems likely) or if individual
services can be used.
Does this site need any new hydrants? Hydrants are shown on the 1st attachment. Individual fire
services are not proposed at this time.
Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.
