HomeMy WebLinkAbout004 Project NarrativeWe would like to demo our old garage, located in the middle of our property, and construct a new garage with an ADU above it, to be located along the alley. We currently have a building
permit for renovating the existing house, application # 21-00031587. Ideally, some of the construction is done simultaneously to save on mobilization costs, such as concrete work for
example.
The proposed garage is a two-car garage with an enclosed stairwell to an ADU on the second floor and a walk-out deck. The ADU includes a total of 561 square feet of living space. The
building is designed to have a flat roof, with vertical wooden siding and corrugated metal siding. Gas and Electric will come in from the alley and be metered separately from the main
house. Water will be down-streamed from the main house, and sewer will be hooked up to the existing sewer in the basement of the main house.
