Dear Members of the Transportation Board, City Staff, and City Commission
I am writing in regards to funding avenues for STR132 and feel that the Frontage Pathway
should either be singularly chosen or at minimum the largest recipient for the available$500,000 share of funds. The individuals and organizations behind this project have worked
tirelessly for more than a decade to bring to light a non-motorized path connecting the majorpopulation centers of our valley of which the City of Bozeman is the largest. Momentum
behind the project has never been better and as the valley develops as rapidly as it does actingon the project too slowly may mean the opportunity could be swallowed up by private
development and the swath of lands required disappear forever. Please allocate this fundingaccordingly in an amount greater than $200,000.
