I am writing in support of pathway between Bozeman and Belgrade. I live in Mountain View subdivision between
Bozeman and Belgrade and daily see bikers and walkers attempting to navigate some portion of the frontage road.
Given how narrow portions of the frontage road are, with constant heavy traffic (always including huge gravel
trucks) vehicles are forced to move the center of the highway creating hazardous conditions for on-coming traffic. I
experience and witness it daily. Throughout the valley pathways have been constructed to provide an extra degree
of safety for bikers and pedestrians, even those with wide streets/roads (such as Valley Center Road). Given the
traffic load of the frontage road (in many areas without a shoulder) a pathway is a responsible and needed project.
