My wife and I are 32 year residents of Bozeman (72 and 70, respectively)
and cherish the existing infrastructure that allows us to get out and walk
and bike.
Bozeman and Belgrade are going to morph into each other and now is the
time to install a walk/bike friendly connection. It is an investment in
public health, recreation and affordable transportation and will help tobalance the considerable strains on our community created by nearly out-
of-control growth. If it isn't done now, it never will be.
The demand for and need for safe trails is patently obvious from thenumbers using current trails. The ROI is greater, in my view, than
investment in roads. A great trail system will help Bozeman keep its
character.
Please allocate funding from the STR132 to the Frontage Pathway. Your
kids will thank you.
